Starting the academic year 2023/2024, the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences subscribes to the Turnitin Similarity service for text matching (plagiarism) checks.
The Turnitin Feedback Studio plagiarism detection software allows lecturers to check the authenticity of texts (assignments, papers, theses) and articles written by students. The software compares all uploaded documents with web content, Crossref, and papers uploaded by students.
As before, plagiarism checks can be carried out in the Assignment activity within our Moodle Elearning system.
Plagiarism checks for BA and MA theses are carried out by uploading them to the Neptune system.
For the originality check of PhD theses and scientific articles, our lecturers may send a request to "MATE Plágiumvizsgálat" plagium@uni-mate.hu.
